Air Fryer Greek Lemon Oregano Chicken
Bone-in thighs, lemon, garlic and dried oregano. Weeknight chicken with a taverna finish and pan juices for the potatoes.
Tandoori chicken needs a thick yogurt marinade and high heat for those signature blackened spots. The air fryer delivers both on a weeknight.

Slashes let marinade reach the center and help pieces cook evenly.

Follow each step in order. Photos show what to look for so the basket finish matches the plate.
Score chicken. Mix yogurt with masala, lemon, oil, ginger, garlic and salt. Coat well. Marinate at least 1 hour, overnight best.
Thick marinade should cling. Wipe off huge globs before cooking so they do not steam.
Tip. Pat dry before scoring so cuts stay clean.

Cook at 380°F (193°C) for 20-24 minutes, turning at 11, until charred in spots and 175°F (79°C) near bone.
Those dark spots are the point. Serve with lemon, onion and chutney.
